Erika Ruiz is a Cognitive Fitness Facilitator, Brain Coach, and Certified Dementia Practitioner passionate about joy, wellness, and the brain. She has over 30 years of experience with recreational programs for adults and seniors, and is certified by the American Senior Fitness Association. Erika’s background has allowed her to encounter several types of dementia, which sparked her interest in studying the brain, along with healthy habits to enhance well-being.
Erika leads Braintality workshops and retreats around the world, combining her talents with that of the wellness seeker. Her dedication and passion for teaching has made her one of the most prominent bilingual wellness coaches.
She is a member of the Association for Applied Therapeutic Humor and active volunteer for AARP, Alzheimer Association, and Easter Seals.
